Today CrossFit helped me catch the airporter at Oakland airport, so I didn't have to wait for an hour and 1/2 for the next one.

I got off the plane at 2:00 and the aiporter was leaving at 2:00!! I figured I had 5 minutes, what with people loading their bags on the airporter. With two carry-on bags I ran my *** off, down the stairs, weaving past people, and got to the airporter just as the driver was closing the door.

I hardly broke a sweat. Thanks CrossFit.

Similar experience-

I tried to carry my Power Rings on the plane in my carry-on. No luck there- they caught them in the x-ray machine and flagged them as a "prohibited item." I sprinted back to the check-in desk, checked my bag, sprinted back to security, and then got stopped and frisked when my cellphone set off the metal detector. When they finished searching my wallet and belt buckle for razor blades (!?!), I had about five minutes before my plane took off; the next flight would cost me another five hundred dollars. I hurdled the security cordon, sprinted, and just made it.

Kudos to American airport security! Not only do they make our citizens secure, they make them more athletic.
