Floyd Mayweather is a machine. The man doesn't fatigue. This is a video of his jump rope routine (and we thought double unders were hard). According to an article, he took a quick break to take a sip of hot chocolate...I guess he needed to rehydrate. Anyway check it out.

Actually, his jump rope skills don't mean he would be a Crossfit machine. Its fairly irrelevant, as he is at the top of his game, and the "yeah but can he do CrossFit?" questions got old a long time ago. But really, that video showcases some great agility, and nothing to prove strength, power etc. Not to say he doesnt have them, but from watching him jump alone, I would have no way to say he could Dead, Clean etc>

By the way, I did like watching that. I still hope he gets wrecked for slagging MMA, but it is a longshot.

Being extremely coordinated and efficient at one type of activity (jump rope) does not imply high levels of other types of fitness. He is so good at that activity it is likely hardly even straining his system at all.

Very athletic and impressive, absolutely. Likely took a long time and a lot of practice, sure. However, as has been shown before, aerobic animals often get crushed when presented the strength and power demands of CF. Who knows how he would do and why spend the mental masturbation on it?

Hey everyone, the whole point of this video was just to show a man who works his off and who is potentially one of the fittest men in this country. It is just an entertaining video to watch and one to potentially make you work harder than you already are. The title of the thread was somewhat of a joke. So, proposing whether or not he would be able to do crossfit wasn't exactly the point. Regardless, hope you all enjoyed the video.

Rehearsed? Definitely. Rehearsed once daily for the last 22 years.

Pretty Boy is a certified genetic marvel who has the work ethic of fighters from half a century ago. That's a pretty nasty mix.

EDITED TO ADD: I'll agree there is no point to pontificating about Floyd's training. At this point in his career, he's honed his training to the razor's edge. He does what he needs to do to be the fighter he has to be, full stop.

Despise the man. I'd really like to see him get his head knocked off tonight by De La Hoya.
