As an exercise, try replacing the word "CrossFit" with any other functional movement (oly, pl, triathlon, track and field etc.) discipline and see if your conclusions in your personal stories come out the same or different.

I'm just saying, if you're using him as an example of what the longest-lasting Crossfitter does, and he wasn't even following what was programmed by the mainsite or by tons of different affiliates, then it's not a very good example.
