Has anyone tried the larabar.
it seems to be a good product

Yes, I love those things. That little bar adds up to the equivalent of about 3 carb blocks if you're zoning. Dried fruit is just concentrated in the sugar department unfortunately. I use them if I need a fast meal along with a protein shake or use it as my carbs for breakfast. The apple cinnamon is great with almond butter.

do you count the fat in the larabar as your blocks of fat?

Several things about the Larabar from my use of it:

The total carbs minus the fiber is only two blocks of carbs.

I count the fat blocks.

These bars are great for portable meals/snacks. Then again, so are apples and nuts.

Jerky + cocamole larabar = my favorite meal on the go...except I never thought of subtracting fiber. Oh well, better wat two next time.

after reading rob's post about dehydrated fruit being high in concentrated there a difference in eating normal fruit vs. dehydrated fruit that has been reconstituted or drinking water with your dehydrated fruit?
