Re: Chin Up Frame UK
That would be a great job for a friend with a welder. If you want to kip on it though then you better figure out someway to anchor it.
Cheers, kempie |

I dont kip but i'm looking to get someone to make me something similar, I'd want it to be a lot more stable though..literally rock solid.

Re: Chin Up Frame UK
Ill get a pic posted of mine when I get the chance. I actually had a similar unit built for me by the guy who runs www.customgym.com (w/f/s). He charged me £195 altogether. Its only 7 feet high, about 1.5 meters wide and best of all, I can take it apart when I am finished!

Re: Chin Up Frame UK
Yeah i'm going to go the UK route I think. the ironmind stuff and TAPS look ok but nothing like the thickness of the steel that the gym near me uses.
I've knocked up my own design in MS paint FTW http://img187.imageshack.us/img187/3...ioncopyfx3.jpg this will be the thickness of the steel, will probably weight over 100kg/220lbs and triple powder coat finished in hammertone http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/7829/31111mn7.jpg |
