Re: ET's Log

Those are some CRAZY stats, Elizabeth. Especially that DL...I'm floored! What's your experience with lifting? It's great to see another woman posting on the boards!

Re: ET's Log

I have been CrossFitting for 13 months and I have been going 4-6 days per week for the past 4 months. Consistency and starting the Zone has really helped. How long have you been CrossFitting?

After 100 PU and 150 burpees my biceps are jacked up. I tried to go for form rather than heavy weight.

Rack Jerk 65-70-80-85

Split Jerk 65x3 70x3 75x3

Push Jerk 65x5, 70x5 arms fried.

Not very long. Almost a month now. But I've known about XFit for a while...just thought you had to be some kind of comic book hero to complete the WODs. You can check out my log for more details.

Also, never did that many Burpees or Pullups in my life... yet.

Re: ET's Log

Erin, you are doing amazing after only one month of CrossFit. I started out with a 15 pound bar!

Re: ET's Log

2/1/2008 Friday was a rest day my arms are still smoked and I can't straighten them out all the way.

2/2/2008 Saturday - Hope to do SOMETHING today but my arms are still smoked.

Erin, don't let E.T.'s humbleness fool you, she's an absolute CF Studette...very strong.

Re: ET's Log

thanks for the encouragement Aush! Erin, CFSan Diego is full of Wonder Women, studette = student.

I didn't work out all weekend since I had no one to watch the kids.

Today's WOD wasn't particularly satisfying because my lifting form is anything but efficient and I just don't have fast elbows... yet.

Warm up was tabada kettlebells 1 pood 10x per 20 seconds every time.

Clean and Jerk 2-2-2-2-1-1-1-1
65-70-75-80
85-85-90-90

Cool down Ring dips, push ups, pass-throughs.

"Christopher"
3 Rounds
800m Run
3/4 body weight DL x12
24 inch Box jump

I was going for 6 minute rounds or 18 m. My first round was a 6 minute round but I couldn't keep up the running pace. I've always been a slow runner
