Friday Workout:
I decided to do another day of parallette and ring training because yesterday's was pretty light. Plus, the newest Core Control video that was posted excited me again about my planche work.

Planche progression for about 10 min
Front lever progression for another 10 min
HSPU work
Core work

Saturday Workout:
Cindy
25 rounds + 5 pull ups - I tried to pace myself at 1 round every 40 seconds, but after the 5th round I saw I couldn't keep that pace. Next time I do this I want 30 rounds...

After Cindy and some stretching, I worked on my double unders. I am getting the hang of it. They shall no longer be my bane on the Filthy Fifty! I just ordered a Buddy Lee Master Jump Rope. I can't wait for it to come in...

Didn't have much time for anything else these past two days. Between school and work, I am gearing up for my NSCA CPT test to make myself a little more marketable until i can go to a CF certification. I need to hit myself pretty hard with some metcon and longer distance running over these next couple weeks to gear up for the half marathon.

Fell off the train a bit with spring break and midterms, but let's get back in to the swing of things.

A few workouts I did over the past couple of weeks:

21-15-9
65lb DB swing
pull ups
time: 5:14

5 rounds for time:
135lb deadlift
push ups
walking lunges with one 35lb DB overhead
20 reps of each
time: 17:41

100 pull ups
time: 5:13

I also did a plethora of ring and parallette work. I think I am close to a planche. I say that, but I am probably not...

Half marathon is this Sunday.

Alright, today is the day I start back up. I ran the half marathon on Sunday at 1:41 which breaks down to about a 7:40/mile pace. I was quite pleased with that. I was going for a 7:30 pace, but you can't win them all.

Today and Friday I will be doing some low volume SS work. I will then start at least 6 weeks of SS on Monday. I will be drinking the gallon of whole milk per day. I am quite excited about beginning SS.
