Agility ladder?

So, I'm about to order a pair of Elite Rings. But shipping is $20 so I want to make sure I don't want anything else from them anytime soon.

So, I was wondering about the Agility Ladder. Is it something anyone of you have used? Would you consider it a helpful tool?

Re: Agility ladder?

i've used them in the past with athletes and "regular" folks and kids.... excellent as part of a warm up.... or a fun change up in a workout..... if the cost doesn't deter you, go for it......

but $20 for shipping

Yeah, it kind of seems fun So I think I want it. Perhaps the DVD on ring training as well. And...

It's too easy for me to buy too much so I'll wait an extra few days before I decide.

Re: Agility ladder?

They are really easy to make.

1. you could just draw lines on the floor...

2. Buy 2 of the cheapes loading straps you can find. buy some thin wood, not sure what it was called but is like long pieces of yard stick size wood. measure it out and use a staple gun to attach it to the nylon straps. works great. IF your going to use it on a rough say bumpy grass, you might want to use a little heavier wood....

I use it every workout as warmup....

Re: Agility ladder?

True... Guess I can make one for less than the $39 it costs. Thinking of it it's probably not that hard to make rings either. But perhaps it's to much work to get them the same and completely round.

Re: Agility ladder?

I made one using cheap 1/4" cord & PVC. I think it was around $5 for the materials.

I would trip on that =-[

The elite agility ladder seems solid. I will get one with my next order of rings.

Re: Agility ladder?

Gaah, I'm a big spender. So I guess I'll buy both the rings and the ladder. Strong upper body and fast feet. Yey! Thanks all!

Re: Agility ladder?

There are some really good videos of ladder movements at the link below. BTW I recommend getting some of the free players that has slow motion to watch them LOL. I use FSPlayer.
