I was doing my CF warm up and for my PUs I was kipping in the squat rack. It is the only PU station in the gym I went to today.
Anyways, I was walking back to my broomstick (OHS) and a gentleman approach me and asked if I was through with the rack.
I asked him if he needed it to do some squats? I would have happily shared the spot just reduce the space needed to swing my legs (still a newb, need lots of space as i am learning the art of kipping).
His reply--no I am going to do some curls but I can just set the bar across a bench if you are not through with it.
I told him I was just warming up but I would be happy to share.
He declined and walked away?
I just smiled and thought about inviting him to do Linda with me.

FUN FACT: There is really only one "curling in the squat rack" post on the internet; it is reposted, on average, every 0.8 seconds.

I curl in my squat rack at home. I also use it to hang laundry. Wanna hit me with a stick?

Who really cares what anyone else does? Do your thing to the best of your ability and let others do theirs.

Wait. Does curl still mean the same thing?

I was not flaming the guy. I was just sharing that I am having some of the Crossfit "experiences" that seem to happen to everyone after the conversion to Crossfit.
I actually enjoyed it. I am guilty of having done curls in the squat rack. Just don't see it as beneficial as PUs or playing with my rings.
Doing kipping PUs seems to raise some eyebrows. :-)
I am sure some of the gym rats want to hit me with a stick because my gains are so great right now & I am only in the gym for an hour a day.
Maybe a perception change on my part.
