Bumper Plates

I have to bye some bumper plates. I was thinking of the 'York' plates. Does anyone have another suggestion? I'm not sure of the best company and price. I know 'York' has a starter set that includes an olymic bar, 2 of 45,35,25,15,10,5, and 2 clips. I think they go for $1200-$1400. I would love any advice.

Re: Bumper Plates

I got a 260 lb set of Hi-Temp bumpers from www.roguefitness.com (WFS) and I love em. Nicely priced too.

Re: Bumper Plates

Gotta 2nd Wright Rubber, great product, awesome service. Probably can't go wrong with Rogue either though. I have some non-bumper stuff from them in my Garage and they pretty much rock too.

Re: Bumper Plates

I just got a set from Wright and Jason was great to work with! I also have a set of Kraiburgs from Again Faster and I love those as well and Jon is awesome to work with too. I don't think you need to spend the money on the Yorks. And the the new Pendaly bar, it looks pretty sweet and is priced great!

Re: Bumper Plates

You might want to check out the Garage Gym store. As far as I can tell their Kilo bumpers are actually some of the cheapest you can get per pound.

This is the set I have been looking at, it will give you 308 pounds of bumper plates for under $500.

Re: Bumper Plates

we have many sets of Wright bumper plates and they are the cheapest you can get, yet I have never had a problem with 4 classes a day for over a year. My latest order received last week had aluminum colors and this is new from Wright, all my other stuff has brass but I like the new ones better. Christians Fitness Factory (go online) has the best prices, I think I got my last 260 lb set (2 x 45, 35, 25, 15, 10) for about $450 shipped.
