Re: Sharknado

Also for the funnies today, excerpt from my CF affiliate's workout yesterday (emphasis mine):

"Strength/Skill:

DE LB: Power Snatch EMOM

Every 30 seconds for 5 minutes, do 1 power snatch at 80% of 1-rep max (RX) or 70% of 1-rep max (SC)

Focus: Improve snatch strength & efficiency; build hip speed for squatting"

Re: Sharknado

Technically I think he could. Or he could just make a virtual net around an area keeping them out. Unless they were yellow.

I'm pretty sure most GL's would get docked by the Guardians for taking time out to surf though on the clock. Especially when they have to guard an entire sector of space.

Hal Jordan, with 138 planets to keep track of, would have a helluva time finding some time to surf. And hold his day job pilot gig to pay the bills.

Re: Sharknado

Jeff I saw you post your numbers in another thread for CFT as 265/110/400. I knew we had similar numbers but I just did CFT for the first time a month or 2 ago and got 275/150/400 and I could have sworn you were a good amount stronger than me. What is your total at now?

Re: Sharknado

You squat to improve your snatch, not the other way around!!!

Last time I did it I was 305 (low bar)/125/405. But, I really haven't been focusing on powerlifts for about a month now, so the more relevant total would be my current 87/105 WL total (in kg of course). Going for 110 on C&J tomorrow morning though, well I guess the lbs equivalent since I am doing the workout in my garage due to being out of town this weekend.
