10 pullups and 10 dips for every MU is often recomended...that is a mountain in this case...perhaps 100 of each in as few sets as possible?

This WOD beat me up.....
i kinda listened to u, except i did 300 pullups-dips. finished in 1:08 hrs. first set, 20 and 20, the rest was a circuit of 10x10. at 100 reps i rested 5 min and got water, stretched, did 50, took another 5 min. all the way up to 300....by the end i was holding the bar with my fingertips...all my muscles from my forearm to my hamstrings were crampin up on me n i got blisters all over my hands......great workout tho...i still would'a rather done the 30 muscle ups..don't really know what they are, but i like to stick to the wod as best as i can.....

Robb, this is why you have to be very careful what you say. People give you a lot of "cred" around here . . . .

This guy Bobak is simply incredible!

10 pull ups and 10 dips for each muscle up is definately excessive. It's far easier to do 10 muscle ups than 100 dips, 100 pull ups. That's just nutso. Bobak, I'm impressed, that's some determination.

Easier for you, maybe . . .

I can do 10 pullups and 10 dips, and could (presumably, and given enough time) do 100 of each.

However, I still cannot get even my first muscle-up, however . . . . still stalling at the "turnover" point (sigh . . . someday).

I do agree that doing 10 and 10 for each of 30 (!) muscle-ups was almost maniacal . . . and a hell of an impressive workout. Bobak gets my vote for athlete of the week, just for an impressive pain tolerance, if nothing else.
