Crossfit on Biggest losers

Did anybody see the CrossFit stars on the biggest losers? One quick question - why didn't they mention the name CrossFit on the show?

Because Crossfit didn't pay NBC to advertise.

Kinda like you'll see people's clothing logos blacked out or taped over on TV

Yeah, but still totally b.s. in my book... They used the athletes, they should at least mention the name.

I'm still perplexed that Reebok doesn't mention CF in its adds. Pictures and videos of people doing CF, with CF athletes in the ads, but they always say "the sport of fitness." Weird.

Call me a crap businessman, but if I believe in something I promote the heck out of it with ZERO care about if it makes me money. I truly believe in loyalty and helping out your friends.

I found it interesting that Bob wore a Rogue t-shirt an it was NOT pixilated.

I noticed the Rogue logo on several pieces of equipment. If I had to guess, they probably provided equipment for the show at a reduced price (maybe even free) in exchange for some in-show exposure.

Re: Crossfit on Biggest losers

Maybe they were just avoiding ****ing off CFHQ and having to deal with them. They have a rep for overzealously "protecting their brand"

But if they didnt mention their CF accomplishments, just factually, like "winner of the 20XX CF Games", then that is a little weird and probably deliberate.

Re: Crossfit on Biggest losers

I thought it was total BS as well. I can understand the not using the Crossfit name but they could have at least introduced the athletes. Why were they even there? Bob said "these are some of the people I work out with", that was it. I guess they were there to show the contestants how they could look if they could lose weight and work out for a living?
