1x of 275lb

Then
WOD:
AMRAP in 15 min
2 HSPU
(1) 15' Rope Climb
10 Double unders
4 HSPU
(1) 15' Rope Climb
20 Double Unders
6 HSPU
(1) 15' Rope Climb
30 Double Unders
*Keep adding 2 HSPU and 10 Double unders until time is up.

This was a good wod. I would have loved to have gotten to the round of 20 hspu but the phlegm in my chest made me stop a lot on the double unders.

Today is my scheduled rest day but felt like squatting. I actually hit all these numbers much better than the day before lol.

Then
3 rounds for time
800m row
8 deadlifts 275lb
12 burpees
Rest 2 minutes betwee rounds
*if there's. a +or - 10 sec difference between any of the rounds then rest 1 minute after the last round and run 800m.

3)4:16
Dammit exactly 10 secs so I ran the 800m in 3:40

Real proud of my back squatting. Getting more comfortable with the heavy weight.
The wod was a nice hamstring/lung burner. I did my best to keep my rowing at around 1:55 pace. Did the deadlifts in 5/2/1. Lol I should have slowed down on my last burpees so I didn't have to run the 800m!

This was a nasty lung burner. Not much room to catch my breath in any of the exercises.

I haven't written in my log in over a month and I feel disappointed in myself. Writing on here is what keeps me accountable so I'm going back to the basics.

Today
Strength
Back squats 5x5 of 285lbs
Only made it to 2 sets of 5

Strict press 5x5 of 145lb
Only made it to 3 sets of 5

Then
Hammer
5 rounds
5 power cleans 135lb
10 front squats 135lb
5 push jerks 135lb
20 pull-ups
90 sec rest

Quit after 3 rounds.i don't know what was wrong with me today. I wasn't there mentally and made it easy to give up. Disappointed in myself today.

This was a good burner. I tried my best to keep the pace on the rower at under 1:50 but to no avail. Towards the end of each row I was at 1:52-1:54. Gotta do a better job of always keeping it 1:50 or less.
The 15 push jerks were easy and unbroken. The 30 t2b were a little tougher than expected. I used quick breaks on them. I messed 4 times on the dubz which should never happen with only 60 reps. I think need a new rope as the one I have now has a couple of dents on it. Did the 30 pen press in 3 sets of 10 with quick breaks and took some pain in the last row.

Score: 4 rds, 3 snatches

Rest 2 min

Amrap in 3 min
2 snatches 135lb
8 burpees
Score: 2 rds, 6 burpees

Good squat session today even with being so sore. Gotta a lot of snatch practice in the amraps but not happy with my speed on the snatch. I need to be able to do tap and go much faster. That's the only reason why lost today but I made up a lot of ground with the burpees.

Deficit push-ups (45lb plates under each hand)
Alternating kb snatches 2 pood
Then run 1 mile
Time: 15:18

Had a good training session today. Real happy how I managed the heavy kb snatches. I'm feeling more comfortable with that 2 pood! The deficit push-ups left my chest on fire!
