We are at capacity! The wait list is open though. Get your name on it if you still want to compete. We are going to do our best to get as many athletes in as we can. Email me for more info, info@midatlantichopper.com.

Re: Mid-Atlantic Hopper Challenge 2009

We have decided to open up Challenge to a few more competitors. Registration will again be open until September 25th. If you're still interested in competing, check out www.midatlantichopper.com (wfs) for more info or to register.

Also, we have begun posting competitor profiles on the website. Check back often to see who's going to be there and what they can do.

A lot of the equipment this year will be auctioned off at the end of the day. The equipment is being donated by Christian's Fitness Factory in order to raise as much money as possible for Wounded Warrior Project. So even if you're not competing, come check it out. Bring your check book because you could go home with a great deal on some equipment.

Sponsorships are still being worked and we hope to have more prizes for the raffle by the big day! A couple of the prizes include medicine balls and a gift certificate to a local running store.

It's getting exciting! Can't wait to see everybody there.

Anyone else from the Main Line Philly area attending? I'm guessing some of the local affiliates have got to have some people making the trip.

Re: Mid-Atlantic Hopper Challenge 2009

Next year I won't miss the boat on this one, but I'll certainly spectate this year. Anyone I could hitch a ride from coming from the DC area?

Strike that. I snagged a competition slot from a friend. I'm IN!!! (Doing a little excitement dance for having entered my very first CF competition, but in some ways absolutely terrified!)

I'm signed up to spectate. I'm dragging my wife along. She can now see other people that "do those crazy workout things" that I do in my basement

Re: Mid-Atlantic Hopper Challenge 2009

All you other competitors see the format posted?

3 WODS...

1 - ME for 1-3 reps, exercise TBD

2 - monostructural, couplet or triplet

3 - chipper (7 movements)

I've already determined that my biggest challenge will be controlling my nerves...I'm freakin out already! Can't wait.

Oh, time to start wishing for your favorite movements!
