This sort of thing has happened plenty of times in MMA, the only reason anyone made a big deal of it was because of the joke that Hendo made afterwards.

Hendo did nothing wrong, he finished the fight because the ref hadn't broken up the fight. If Hendo doesn't drop that fist and Bisping recovers and wins the fight, we'd all be talking about how stupid hendo was for letting Bisping recover.

Brock's antics were unnecessary, Hendo was doing what a fight does.

Re: Dan Henderson's last punch unnecessary?

When Rampage punched Wanderlei multiple times AFTER the stoppage nobody talked about it. It was worse than what Babalu did and if he were less marketable he would have been out of the UFC. People have been prosecuted for less. Now every message board I go on has a thread about this legal punch. Why?

It looked as if he hit him and watched him going down but the argument could be made that he wasn't sure if he was gonna stay down and was KO at that point as he was falling, especially as he looked as if hands were still in something of a guard position.

Yeah, this is going to be awesome! I might actually feel a little said for Bisping. Oh wait, no I don't.
