Barbell Shoulder Press 150lbs for 3.

Tried handstand pushups for the first time and did 4 of them for the first round. Then switched to regular pushups...

Endurance

Did 2 miles- Started to feel shin splints
5 Minutes
1mile- Shin splints were pretty bad. I was really tight and it was because I was not relaxing my foot on the pull up.

Intro to Oly- 4th class and made solid progess on my clean form with Jim

8/6- Endurance

3 800s with 1min rest in between

#1- 3:42
#2- 3:32
#3- 3:22

Weighted Pullups I PRed with 105lbs for 3. I gotta work on resting at the top and not the bottom.

Metcon:
7 Pullups and 20 air squats

I had 1 strike on the 8th minute I couldn't get the 7th pullup so had to do 7 burpees at the end of the wod.

8/8

Dead lifted 225 for 3. My form is terrible and I am lifting my butt before my shoulders and it is putting a lot of pressure on my lower back. When I go to bring the weight back down I don't bend my legs and it turns into a straight leg deadlift.

Met con A:
135lbs clean and split jerk
5 toes to bar

I did 5 total rounds.

Split jerking with the opposite foot was extremly awkward. I am looking forward to oly this weekend to work on my clean.

I'd be wiling to bet some CROGA will help your deadlift Good weight for you on the C and J metcon. The "other" foot will feel much better next time!

8/9 Doubles today!

Endurance 6:30am

8x300 (13th to 12th which is around 260?)

Did all of them within 4 seconds of 51 seconds


Regular Class 6:30pm

Felt real good with the squat. Last week I peaked at 235 for 1 and tonight I did 245 for 3 with good speed. I used the belt and the breathing made a world of difference.

Met con

Clean/Front Squat 145lbs
20 Double unders

Only did 2 full rounds but it was the first time I did rx with double unders. My best was 6 in a row. I need to get better at them and the only way to do it is to stop taking the shortcut and doing singles.

Did 2 pullups with 115lbs
I was an inch off of doing it with 125lbs.

Metcon
2pood + 10lbs
12 rds

10 Pushups
10 jumping squats

I didn't complete 3 full rounds.

Thursday 8/16

I couldn't make it yesterday.
155lbs for 3

Last week my peak was 150 for 1 but I went out the night before and it def effected my workout.

Metcon
105lbs for overhead squat

3 rounds and 1 stair

I was really unstable with the overhead squat.
