Best grip training I ever came across right here:

Family Safe:

and he mentions:

"Block Weights = Hand Strength"

if it doesn't work for you, copy the URL (http://www.geocities.com/ltgodfrey/three.html) and paste it in the URL address line in a browser window

Oh, waiter? May I have a larger slice of humble pie?

I just got my Trainer and #1 CoC grippers from Ironmind. I can close the Trainer with my right hand (my dominant hand), but not my left. I'm about 1/4" away from closing the #1 with my right, but nowhere close with my left.

One interesting note so far. When I use the grippers on my left hand, I get a pain/strain in my elbow!

Anyway, thought I'd post again with my initial findings. Thanks again for everyone's input/feedback.

Nick, there are some Ironmind grippers in my school's gym and I have noticed the same strength discrepancy between my two hands. I would say my right hand is twice as strong as my left.

I also had problems when I got my #1....but it's like chin-ups (at least for me!)..on Monday you can only do 1, on Tuesday you can do 1, but on Wednesday you can do 2 etc.
It took me a few days to close it once...but then the ball's rolling.
PS: Don't actually use the grippers every day...use them like weights..2 or 3 times a week for only a few sets.

What is the best way to work with block weights? Sounded like the gentleman on the site worked with them whenever he got the chance.
