Snack during workout?
I typically wake up at 4:45am and have a scoop of protein with some milk (about 15-20g protein in scoop) + a tsp of peanut butter.
WOD at 5:15 and i play basketball from about 6am - 7:15am currently i go home, shower, breakfast and go to work. should i be squeezing something in between the WOD and basketball? I don't have hunger issues, but am concerned if I should be getting some post wod nutrition to maximize my gains. any input would be great if it helps, typical day (6'2, 200lbs) 4:45 am - protein / milk + tsp peanut butter 7:30am - protein shake, w/ banana + peanut butter 9:30am - greek yogurt 12 - spinach salad + chicken breast w/ oil and vinegar 2:30 - apple + almonds or string cheese 5pm - low sodium turkey 7:30pm - meat / fish / chicken + vegetables |

My stomach would rebel if I tried to wedge food between two workouts like that. YMMV, in part depending on how intense the basketball game is.
It's hard to say without portion sizes, but there's a good chance you're not eating enough in general. You get up before 5 and your first real meal isn't until noon? Katherine |

basketball is typically pretty intense. fullcourt, fast paced games. any suggestion what to eat in between?
my morning protein shake comes in at about: 600 cal 22g fat 55g protein 55g carbs |
