Bye-Bye Fat! WSJ Article

Check out today's WSJ cover article in the personal journal section. Two new devices have been created to get rid of fat and apparently they are incision free. One of them, Zetiq, grabs onto fat sites and freezes the fat cells inside, causing them to self-destruct over several months. Another one, Zerona, is a low level laser that forces fat cells to empty in a matter of weeks. Once again, it's amazing the stuff that is created all because people will not change their eating and lifestyle habits. At least both companies acknowledge that people should make these changes.

And then they'll gain it all back in a matter of months and have to keep going through the same procedure, eventually causing permanant damage. :|

It freezes the fat cells? I'm just picturing this Star Wars-esque fighter pilot fight going on in my body as all these little X-Wings fly around and shoot freeze rays at my fat cells.
