Raw milk...

...just scored a hook-up for raw milk!! Yeehaw!! $6 a gallon but I don't care... he delivers 2 gallons twice a week as my family and I go through 4 gallons a week of milk! (Wife, my, and my three girls, 4, 2, 9 months).

awesome! $6 bucks ain't bad at all...and he delivers!....i pay $10 gallon for raw goats milk plus $20 bucks overnight shipping for four gallons, totaling $60 (or $15 a gallon)

unfortunately its illegal in New Jersey

How far is Jersey City from PA? If you're paying that much for shipping it'll probably be cheaper to drive over here and buy it. In Philly it's $4-6/gallon for raw milk, out near Hershey I found it for $3.50/gallon. Come visit.

Sweet! We pay more than that out here. Have you visited the farm to make sure its good to go (i.e. grass-fed)?

Wow that's actually a really good deal!

Around here I could pay upwards of that for a 1/2 gallon.

I have. It is actually a friend of a fellow church member that hooked us up. BTW, it is actually for PET FOOD...as it is illegal to sell unpastuerized milk here for human consumption.

Its the same across Canada. There are some cow-share opportunities.
