Mark,
I use renegade rows in a WoD of my own making. 'Morticia', which is 20 renegade rows (25# dumbells, 10 reps each arm), 10 upright rows (I use a Highland Games #56 weight over bar implement, it has a 'O' ring at the top of the weight, kinda like a kettlebell), 6 pullups. 6 cycles of this for time. Or 'Gomez' (I'm a Charles Addams fan), which is the same exercises but as many cycles as you can do in 20 minutes. So, yes, I integrate renegade rows and find them effective. I do not, but some people delete the pushup part of the renegade row and still call it a renegade row. I'm not too hip on the origin of it so I can't comment if that is correct or not. |

I use renegade rows every now and then.
I did a 10 minute 1 with 16kg kb. I got 70 each arm. I might try again tonight and beat that. I didnt use a pushup though. |
