Regardless of the effects on you there may be some blood chemistry issues that would degrade the quality of the blood donated if you work too hard/too long just prior to donating. Not generally a problem if you do a quick or submax WOD several hours prior, but anything that you would suspect would cause substantial and lingering fatigue or DOMS would not be a good idea.
As far as your performance afterwards is concerned make sure that the donor site is clear and healed before getting into heavy upper body work or 1RM deadlifts. Aerobic performance will take a few weeks to get back to baseline, but unless you are competing or training at max levels it should not be a problem.
