Unhappy Recovering from the Flu

10 days ago i came down with the flu. I woke up Tuesday with a 102.7 fever, body aches and chills. After two days the fever went away but the aches and tiredness was still there.

One week later, last tuesday, i poked around the gym a little. i did a very light barbell complex. Thursday i did front squat 5set of 3. Not my strongest but decent. But then i tried a metcon. Oh boy i have no endurance right now. I have a slight cough that is holding on. Getting better but its my only symptom i still have. Today i did Bench press 5 x3 and did this simple metcon:

15-10-5
pull ups
sit ups
jump squats

I cramped up in my lats and abs but i kept going. And thats a simple beginners metcon.

my Question to the board is: what should i do to help me recover from this flu? Anybody have a supplement they have found to work? Is my problem still dehydration? Any help will be very welcome. I need to get my work capacity back!

1. Recovery is slow... ramp back in VERY VERY SLOW. Relapsing into illness = horrible.

2. Supplements... Vit D. Proper hydration... I dunno some people swear by herbal stuff but that's up to you.
