CF Games...why not give it a shot!?

So I signed up for the SoCal qualifiers in April...gives me a couple months to train. Any suggestions on how to approach my training? It's my first try, should I be following the WODs on the main site, or working specifically on other things? I know the competition is going to be out of this world bad A$$, but hey, why not? It'll be fun, and give me an idea of where I am, and where I need to be

It might behoove you to work any movements that you suck at. I, myself have yet to connect my double-unders so I've been trying to practice ( but I think I should post a post-it note on my locker and door so I try to everyday ). As well I am not pleased with my Oly technique and I suck with KB ( unless it comes to throwing them as a projectile ).

Following the Mainsite WOD or affiliate WODS with skill practice in your weak areas should just about cover it either before the WOD or on other time if you still can manage it.

Muscle-ups, handstand pushups, dips, K2E, thrusters, KB swing, SDHP, Oly, DL-ing, running and rowing technique. Umm did I miss anything?

Great advice. Work on everything, especially that which you aren't good at.
