I think my boyfriend is only doing it because he is totally bored sh**less! As soon as golf season rolls around I'm sure he'll be back to doing 12 ounce curls and riding around in a cart! So...i just make the best of it while i can!

This morning I accidently did 2 manly push-ups with padded bra to ground. This isn't a PR because i was able to do a few of them before i took time off to move. But at least I'm back where i was last spring. Now...all i have to do is keep doing them every day!

Ha!! my favorite WOD: wine curls!!

I always said the only thing big boobs are good for is so you can get chest to floor easier on pushups and the bar doesnt' have to come down as low for the bench press...but mind you.. I am not well endowed so I have to struggle with full ROM

On both counts!

Today at the affiliate was Grace: 30 Clean & Jerks for time.
I kept losing count so i'm not so sure this is right, but: 45 lbs & 5:40

I could go heavier next time.

Press: 5x35 lbs, 5x45 lbs, 6x45 lbs

Cash-out: Some very painful foam rolling

Here's hoping your BF keeps at it -- he will be a much better, fitter golfer with these workouts in his routine! Props on the "guy" push-ups, even if some clothing got in the way. It is still more work! If you've got a pair of parallettes available, try some full ROM pushups on them. I've lost so much ground (from my time off) that I'm trying to get in several sets of four or five (all I can do in a row right now) after the WODs at our box.

Aw...shucks......and i deadlifted instead! I'll have to try that WOD today!

Yesterday feels like a failure all the way around:

Warm-up: 2x1 minute jog at 4.5 mph and snatch practice with 12 lb bar.

Deadlift: 5x85lbs, 5x95 lbs, AMRAP@115 lbs = 7 --- i should have been able to do a few more in this last set. I guess i didn't push hard enough. Seems to be the theme for the day!

WOD: Lynne (class was running over so i had to cut out after 3 rounds):
1: Bench Press @ 50 lbs for 12 reps / Pull-ups w/red band 5 reps
2: Bench Press @ 55 lbs for 5 reps / Pull-ups w/red band 5 reps
3: Bench Press @ 55 lbs for 5 reps / Pull-ups w/red band for 5 reps

Again...i should have been able to get a few more on the bench press...pull-ups weren't bad....especially after deadlifts.

Then....the worst part....i cut out early for a client appointment....and then my client said i don't push her hard enough! She's in for it next time!

Yesterdays WOD: Wine curls (no PR! )

Today with my boyfriend:

Warm-up: Samson Stretch, Straight leg kicks, butt kick walk, walkouts & push-press technique w/15 lb bar.

WOD: 4 rounds of max reps (30 reps max) of:
Lunges: 4x30
Push-ups on gymnastics mats: 7-6-5-5 (my weakness)
Push Press w/45 lb bar: 10-9-9-8

He did pull-ups w/green band instead of push-ups (his weakness)
But i still kicked his butt: 28 more lunges, 13 fewer push-ups, 4 more Push-press (with same weight!): I win by 13 reps!

I picked on him terribly for letting me beat him with the Push-Press. He just didn't try as hard (or quite have great technique).

I forgot to add that after the WOD today i did 40 minutes of "Yoga for a Strong and Healthy Back"....feels good to be all stretched out!
