Re: 50 Burpees - What's your time?

I didn't end get to enjoy this workout because of some other PT I had going on, but the day before I did 220 burpees in 22:18. Started with 20 burpees, 20 meter sprint, 19 burpees, sprint back, 18 burpees... you get the idea.

Re: 50 Burpees - What's your time?

That is a good one. I think it would be a good for an organized PT session. I have not do the 50 burpees yet, but I will make sure to be a stickler on form. I am going to through out a guesstimated time of 6:43. I will let you all know if I achieve this(or hopefully beat it.) I am going to film it so I can make sure my form stuck through out.

Re: 50 Burpees - What's your time?

Did these yesterday since Sundays aren't a good day for me to workout.

4:45 for me.

I busted out the first 15 in less than a minute.

Then two sets of 10 and the final 15 all in one go.

wow, that really gets your heart pumping.

My wife who just started the WOD on Friday did them in 7:10.

Pretty good I think for someone who had twins 8 months ago and is still nursing them both.

Re: 50 Burpees - What's your time?

3:45. Just went at a good pace, nothing nuts. Actually I banged out 20 pretty fast, then just used a good pace to climb to 50.

I think burpees really knock people on their a@#. I have done a lot of martial arts training, wretling, ju-jitsu, and a burpee is kind of like a sprawl for me- it doesn't really bother me that much

PS- I don't do it like a sprawl before somebody attacks my form

3:09. It really hit me in the legs because of the high jump, along with a good little lung burn. Did anyone else get that post-Fran feeling in their lungs ?

Re: 50 Burpees - What's your time?

i think the 150 a while back was more than 3x harder than 50. That 150 was the first time i really puked hard after a WOD

I do burpees where i have to touch my 8' ceiling when i jump or the whole burpee is a no-go. makes me jump about 12" or so rather than just hop like im doing a single under.

I did the 150 burpees in 15:00 minutes, but those were NOT 1' jumps.
