Ha-ha, thanks!

Just picked up the new pull-up bar from the welder yesterday.
It's 14' and will replace one of the 2''x4'' crossties.

I'm dieing to mount it, but the welder used reclaimed steel for the bar and I need to knock off some surface rust first.

I was contemplating getting a medicine ball - or maybe making one out of an old basketball - but I'm also picturing my wife getting irritated at any resulting noise and/or marks that might cause.
There's always someone giving away a portable b-ball hoop on craigslist. Just take the rim off and lower the backboard half a foot(if you have a place for it that is)

Re: Post pics of your home/garage gym

Here are mine, I also have a chin up bar mounted to my deck and wallball is done by pulling down the attic stairs and aiming at a target in the attic. (It's a portable target so I can mount in with bungee cords to my deck as well.) As luck would have it I live on a loop that is exactly .25 mile! The recently constructed "homemade Prowler" is not included in the pics.

Re: Post pics of your home/garage gym

Here is what my Garage Gym currently looks like. Nothing I can't do in here, and I always have new people coming by the house to work out with. It works out for me pretty good.

Very nice, Roger! What do you have hanging in front of the garage doors?
