I've just moved house and unfortunately the garage at the new place is narrow, has got a low roof and rough floor which makes O lifting an impossibility and restricts how much gear i can store.

Anyway we are now closer to where i do weightlifting (but still a 20 minute drive) so i've been trying to figure out where to do some morning workouts.

So today i dropped into the local rowing club which is a 2 minute walk away, where they were quite happy to see me and for the exorbitant annual fee of $300 :msn-wink: I can have unlimited access to their 8 Model D rowers and a big gym which contains a motley collection of bumpers, bars, dumbells assorted squat and power racks and plenty of open floor area for lifting.

I also mentioned that I could perhaps show them a few things in the weight room and they got very interested!

Hey Don, great score!

Is there any limitation on when you can use the gear/space? I might followup with some of the local rowing clubs up here. We looked at leasing rowing sheds off the council but you need to be a non-profit org.

I'm not sure what the limitations are yet but from what i gather once you've paid up you get an access code and can then get into the gym pretty much anytime.
