Check out Suunto t6 ( www.suuntot6.com ) wrist top computer (with chest belt).

It calculates EPOC, VO2 and 5 other body parameters (while training) which were previously available only through laboratory testing. Need a PC though to run the training manager.

Personally I just love it. It's like my best friend now. Which is very SAD but FUN too...

Has anyone else tried it yet?

As a gadget person, it looks very interesting. Unfortunately it is beyond my financial means. I have a HR monitor and love it. I don't really train by it, but its fun to see how high I can get it! Hopefully the price of this device will fall. Heart rate monitor prices sure have! I actually go one at walmart on clearence for $17!

It's out of my price range as well right now, but I do have an audible indicator that lets me know how much Crossfit has improved my performance.

My wife....

How much is it? Apparently you guys found a price on the website? I gave up on the mazeweb.

Also is thing supposed to use personal info or just matching your parameters against averages for my age, height, weight, etc.?

I went to the website and played around with the virtual trainer, but I couldn't find a quick & easy price, felt like I was on the proverbial primrose...thanks for the info.
