3 months pregnant and going crossfit.
I have bee doing Crossfit for about 3 years and have recently found out I pregnant.
I have been reading Crossfit Mom but find I am still curious about things like Bench press, can I still remain upping the weight? I ask because I hear so many people saying negative things about lying on your back. Also, should I back off with shoulder press??? I have lightened my slow lifts by 40-50%, and do what feels right with my Olympic lifts. With my WODs I focus on my breathing rather then time - (sigh.) If there are any other Mums to be or Mums that can suggest some things, I would appreciate that! Thank you Happy Holiday! |

Check out http://www.cassandraforsythe.com. She blogged about her experience weightlifting and bootcamp training throughout her pregnancy and recently posted a series of interviews with pregnant women. Not CrossFit specific, but good info.

Hey Meghan,
Look up Rachel Baratz's log on this board. She's my good friend and just had a baby. Crossfitted throughout the pregnancy, so you can probably pick up some good tips on what to expect by reading her workout log. |
