www.jesupgym.com has the cheapest big black rubber plates around that I've seen

www.innosport.net has some cheap prices on VTX bumpers too.

There is something to be said about buying from folks you know, though.

Is the Chapman Elite bar over kill or would the BFS Pro-Elite bar do the job just as well for $200 less? I already regret a couple of purchases that I skimped on but I can't help wincing at paying $430 for a bar. Its not like I am training for the olypmics or something.

Scott, BFS sells the Pro-Elite bar for $224, freight include, do you think your pricing will be similar?

Kevin, I have the BFS Pro-Elite bar and I love it. No issues with quality, seems like a solid investment, HUGE diffrence between it and your standard cheap O-Bar. Nice new set-up for thick grip pullups, I think you should wear somthing a little more manly than pink pants though!

Larry that is good to hear and thanks for the information. My hands are chewed up from my cheap bar rotating with the plates.

You like those pink workout pants do you. How about that squat form.

Kevin,

I also have the BFS Pro-Elite bar - much, much better for the O-lifts than the cheap bar that came with my original 310# weight set...

Kevin,

I can do the bar, same exact bar that BFS sells as there pro elite, for 189.00 shipping included. To avoid any hassles this bar will be called the Kansas Elite bar throught our comapny.

Scott
