Rowing

I did my final 20 minute time trial this morning for the rowing team and set a new PR and team record:

20 minute time trial
1:41.2 avg/500
5929m

Thank you, CF

Strong finish to an awesome season.

Re: Rowing

Damn, that is a fast split to hold for 20 mins...great work!

What drag factor were you at? SPM?

Re: Rowing

I use a 4 on my drag factor because it's the closest drag to 'water' you get on a C2.

The drag factor is really a personal choice, but I prefer the closest I can get to the real thing.

Re: Rowing

Ridiculously fast for a 20min interval. You must be at a low 6min 2k, or better? You were doing solely crossfit training for this, or rowing-specific workouts?

Re: Rowing

I'm a rower at my university but I've had great strength gains ever since I started crossfit, a year ago, and it's improved my rowing performances tremendously.

My 2k is ~6:18. That was back in May when I did that time trial though.
