So I was taking the KCR East down into Central Hong Kong for New Years the other day, when low & behold, what popped up on the in-train TVs but a group of local kids doing some nasty Parkour all across the city. It was about a 5 minute report, in Cantonese, on what is apparently a growing community over here.

Now how long before we get a CF gym in these parts & how long before WODs start getting translated into other languages?

Jordan, ha, I'm curious also to see exactly how would they spell "WOD" in other languages?

But maybe you should ask yourself, "hmmmmm, how can I capitalize on the growing trend and make some money by creating my own studio?" Or at the very least make and sell some t-shirts. You can start by tracking down those kids and make them buy some.
Just a thought.

Yeah, it's amazing to see the spread of Parkour into almost every nation around the world. My favorite is still Finland, where the Concept of Dash crew makes a yearly santa video with Santa doing Parkour through their yearly snowfall around the city. Awesome stuff!

Peter: no big deal . . . and yes, I wonder how it translates . . . particularly into pictographic languages.

I just didn't want it forgotten that we *do* already have affiliates in some pretty far-reaching places ("exotic" places, to me) . . . I hope I get to tour them!

每日演习

Well there's Chinese for you..."daily workout" or something to that effect.

Anybody feel like floating some capital to the South Pacific & helping me start a CF/Parkour/MMA gym? With current real estate prices in Central HK it'd only take a few million dollars. Guys....hello...anybody?

Ha, Hey Jesse, if me & my traceur buddy can get into that Hong Kong scene, we'll send you some video of us in speedos doing Parkour during monsoon season!
