Each half = result of buy in meaning how many reps you need to do to buy in if day number of challenge equals the variable n If it is increased by 5 each day or something just multiply the result by five and it still works. Thanks as I often fail and have to buy back in. Oops that's right only if you are buying in from the very start. Ok now figure it out if you have to buy in to catch back up say you did five days successfully screwed up missed two and need to buy back in. Assignment for the day, hahaha.

How about interesting units?
When you put parralletes on the floor, they are about the distance between the tip of your hand to your elbow, right? That's a famous measurement: the cubit!

Re: Math Equations Encountered in CF
2(X^2)+x=Number of dips in a dip walk series, where X is the rep count.
In a dip walk you must traverse the parallel bars forward and backward and perform X number of dips each time you reach an end. So for 1 dip walk you do a dip, walk forward to the end 1 dip walk back 1 dip. Total of 3 dips with walking there and back once. 2 dip walks is 2 dips at each end and two walks so 10 dips and 2 traverses there and back. 3 dip walks is 21 dips and 3 traverses... It gets pretty ugly. We've seen 4 successful, and a couple people really close to 5.
