So, yes, if your goal is to compete, then you need to make strength a priority. For example, your deadlift is 315 lbs. You could easily have a WOD with reps at 275 lbs in competition, and 315 lbs for reps has come up more than once in competition.

Hmmm, as far as timeline, if you are thinking of competing next FALL, then SS isn't a bad option, IMO. If you are thinking of competing in the spring for Sectionals, then I wouldn't do SS. I'd do CFSB or 5/3/1 and keep metcons.

Sorry, I was not in any way meaning to say that YOU are lazy. I understand it's a big change. I've been there. I just have a habit of trying to light a fire under people's @sses when they decide to make a change.
