CF1

The Faint - Desperate Guys
RZA - Chi Kung
50 cent - Candy Shop
Clutch - Promoter of Earthbound Sorrows
Eric B & Rakim - Don't Sweat the Technique
Crystal Method - That's the name of The Game
Jay Z - Dirt off your Shoulder
Missy Elliot - Work it remix w/ 50 cent
Kool Kieth - Break it Off

CF2

Godsmack - Straight Out of Line
Probot - Shake Your Blood
Saliva - Click, Click, Boom
Ludacris - Rollout
High and Mighty - Hands on Experience
Clutch - Profits of Doom
Ice Cube - Pushin' Weight

CF 3

Bjork - Army of Me (live)
Jet - Cold Hard *****
The Donnas - Take it Off
Gavin DeGraw - I Don't Wanna
Iggy and The Stooges- Gimme' Danger
Wu Tang - C.R.E.A.M.
DJ Krush and Mr. Lif - Nosferatu
Atmoshere - Trying to Find a Balance

Surely "Don't Sweat the Technique" "Cold Hard *****" "Shake Your Blood" and "Pushin Weight" have to be classic CF song titles. And surely the line "I think that I want you on the floor" has to be a classic CF slogan.

Enjoy

Bill

A 40-year old, hip-hop listening attorney... Look like pretty solid mixes.

If you are in to rap/hip-hop as work-out music you should check out Eminem's 'Til I Collapse: "Till the roof comes off / till the lights go out / till my legs give out / cant shut my mouth"

Mad props to Eric B and Rakim making the list.

You're missing Jay-Z's "99 Problems" though. Nothing like some Rick Rubin produced hip-hop to get the juices flowing!

I tunes only has the version w/o music, which I have. I need the beat when I'm working out. As I'm in law enforcement, illegal downloading of the music version isn't an option.

Bill,

If you're using iTunes, you should consider publishing your playlists as iMixes. I read how to do it and it looks really easy. Just click on the playlist name in the left column of iTunes, then click on the arrow next to it. Once you "publish" your playlist to iTunes as an iMix, then we can all go and buy the whole playlist or just certain songs from it, and rock out while CrossFitting.

Just my 2 cents.

I just published my own playlist (iMix) on iTunes. It's titled "Sean's CrossFit Playlist 1". Enjoy.

I'll do it over the weekend - if I can figure it out, which is not a given.

99 problems! I have the Linkin Park/JZ mix from their Collateral Damage remix CD and I might have that Eminem song. Will surf my mix CD at home.

I'll look for the play lists on the iTunes site...good luck Bill! and thanks for the lists.

(I like to workout to Hip Hop or Hard Metal and then chill out with Country. Go figure. Well, Trace Adkins and Toby Keith have some some good bad boy songs to rock out to.)

Kristi

The mixes are designed to reverse the effect of too much "Citta vritti nirodhah".

That I can guarantee.
