Finally, I got a couple of the guys to give me a day a week to put them through a crossfit workout.

Friday the 3rd, we did a workout (2 of us at work, 1 at home)

21-18-15-12-9-6-3 of
Squats
Pushups
Situps

The guys being separted kind of messed up the mojo - these two are fiercely competetive with eachother, running and workout buddies.

Russ (worked out with me) 11:03
Me - (modified for pushups) 12:39
Christian (worked out at home) 7:05

Christian called to crow about his victory, but stated he anchored his feet for situps and thought that might have been his edge.

I expected the two to request a rematch, but they actually both redid the workout at home over the weekend.

Christian: 7:00 (his wife timed him)
Russ: 7:30 (ditto wife timing him)

They both wanted another workout, so I threw out Barbara lite (10-20-30-40) and Christian went and did that at the gym at lunch time.

I posted his times on the WOD comments: 23 and change of work. I told him he rocked it, but he was "disappointed" because he had to go to assisted pullups on the last round.

Russ says he will do B.Lite tomorrow because his wife wants to do the 21-18-15-12...3 workout tonight with him because she wants to start doing crossfit workouts at home in the evening.

I am so stoked! *crosses fingers*
More later...they are hooooooked. And perfect for CrossFit.

Tomorrow's workout:

5 rounds for time
20 situps
15 box jumps (12")
5 DB Shoulder presses

I originally had it set up for 15 SP and 10 situps but Christian balked at "only 15#" presses when he does 30# dbs in WL workouts. LOL. I'm compromising.

Friday Workout with the boys:

5 rounds for time ( I modified the above because they thought it would be too easy - they were right)

25 situps
20 box jumps
10 db shoulder presses

Christian 10:07 (25# dbs)
Russ 11:00 (25# dbs)
Laura 11:51 (15#dbs)


I'm not used to making up workouts. I usually do the Pack workouts at Brand X. I'll try to make something a little more challenging for next time.

Oh yeah, Russ did Barbara Lite and did 23 minutes of work on Wednesday. My last was 25 minutes of work.

We all went for a run yesterday and I finished about a minute behind them for run between 2.5 and 3 mi.
