C2 & R3

I found a used Concept Model B with upgraded PM3 computer, rowing handle and foot rests for $475. It appears to be in good condition. I don't know enough about the different models though. Is it worth it.

Also found is a Rogue R3 Westside Rack for $625.

Any comments / suggestions would be really appreciated.

Re: C2 & R3

If you were able to talk them down to $625 from the $825 asking price go for it. However, if that is just a typo on your part, and you don't need the included plate storage or Matador, then just by directly from Rogue and save some money.

Thanks, James. It is a typo. (I tried to edit it, but still learning the ropes of the board.) I checked the Rogue site after posting here and realized the exact point you made.
Any input on the C2?

Re: C2 & R3

$475 is spendy for a model B, even with a PM3.

patience and diligence on CL. Better deals than that come up, cook up an IFTTT recipe for C2's listed on Craigslist then sit back and wait for them to ping you as they get listed.

Re: C2 & R3

I agree the C2 price is a bit much. I got a smoking deal on a Model D PM3 for $350 off of craigslist. Just keep on eye out, and search for as many terms as you can think of, like Concept2, concept 2, rower, rowing, PM3, etc. I think I got mine because the person misspelled concept, but listed PM3 and I found it that way.

There is a Model C in Long Island for $525 on craigslist right now, it could still be available.

Re: C2 & R3

Thanks, guys. This "craigslist" thing is pretty neat, huh? I should've checked it out earlier. Working out the details of a Model C for $400 right now! What is this IFTTT???

Re: C2 & R3

I would love to be able to get an R3 for only 625...Will most likely end up building my own, cheaper and I can customize it
