Yep, Or,so for example with the recent Hang Squat Clean,it may be advantageous to do DL heavy singles with a Push Press.

And for the weeks where there isnt a maxing out, you can replace one of the WODs with your own heavy day, yes?

My suggestion for those weeks is when its a short Couplet/Triplet Day or some WOD that doesn't totally wipe you out, take a good 10min Rest and add on several 5x5/3s Compounds in the Push/Pull Horizontal or Vertical.
Or as you suggest you can just replace a WOD altogether,but why miss out on such fun!

I know your looking after your Diet but it still has to be said in every post concerning(lean Muscle Mass) Gains. Eat Big!!Get Recovery!!
