I was visiting a local gym today, when I saw Bill Fox doing the WOD. I recognized Bill from his web page, but he had no idea who I was; so I went for some comedy.

I approached Bill at the end of his workout and said "You shouldn't use so much momentum when you're doing pull-ups. It's really dangerous."

I saw the blood starting to boil; so I let him off the hook and introduced myself. His look was priceless though.

I finally learn how to freakin' kip and now some guy's gonna give me crap about it! I was ready to roll.

As I said in my other post I should have been suspicious by the clear "CF" look, but all the blood was still in my lats.

And Neil, it seems although I was smart enough not to even try your last name, I did manage to spell your first name wrong in my other post. Sorry.

Aw, come on, you could have done a better job than that, like offering to teach him how to use the lat pulldown machine and leg press in order to isolate his muscles, or tell him that you read about that crazy exercise program in the NYT and think that anybody who does it is a lunatic. "I sure hope you're not doing that Crossfit stuff. I heard that 1500 people have died this year so far just from leaving the fatburning zone, and 2000 have died from using momentum."
