Learning how to speak the male language would be helpful for me. :proud: I need a translator to clarify comments such as:

"YOU LOOK TERRIFIC." Means: "Please don't try on one more outfit, I'm starving."

Ha, talk about needing a translator, you ladies set up us guys when you ask questions like, "How do I look in this dress?":uhoh: Or, "What is it about this dress that you don't like?" No matter what the answer is, the outcome will be either the couch, no dinner or both.

I would suggest the 'international' language. Not for myself though...quite fluent already
(ok, so I'm a dreamer, world needs more dreamers)

I always wish I knew better Spanish because I live so close to the border. Took it in high school, but don't remember anything.

Hebrew was my first language, and I wish I remembered it better, too.

French is my first language. I learnt mainly German, some Italian and some English, which I ended up pretty much teaching myself. I learnt some Arabic when I was in south Lebanon with the army and I would like to get back into it. I am currently looking for a downloadable Arabic language method that I could listen to on my mp3. Does any one know of a good one?
Thank you in advance.
Paul

Paul, here are some Arabic-language radio and TV stations for free:

http://arabic-media.com/radiotv.htm

Some of the links there don't work, but the ones that do are great. My favorites are BBC Arabic under Europe and Sawt Beirut, obviously under Lebanon.
