Kettlebells clinking at bottom of snatch?
Hello everyone! I've just got my second kettlebell and have been practicing my double kb snatch and I've noticed the bells clink together at the bottom. This wouldn't be that big of a deal if this didn't happen.
http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t...psaa3b7f77.jpg (WFS) Is the fault mine with the clinking or is it the bell? I've been really happy with again faster stuff so that's why I'm asking. My Rogue bell on the other hand is fine. |

Re: Kettlebells clinking at bottom of snatch?
I've never done double KB snatch, but on double cleans I find it pretty tough (especially at heavy weight and especially when tired) to keep the bells from some sort of clink at the bottom.
How big a problem this is for you I guess depends on how bad the impact is on the bell. I'm not sure what Again Faster will have to say about how they would expect their KBs to handle this, but personally I would expect a good quality KB to withstand impact from another one. - Mark |

Re: Kettlebells clinking at bottom of snatch?
So I should have expected the AG faster kettlebell to handle it?

Re: Kettlebells clinking at bottom of snatch?
It kinda just looks like the label came off, unless I'm missing something. I think the kettlebell itself made it through fine...

Is Jeff correct that the issue is just that a label fell off? - Mark |

Correct it's just the label but it was built into the "coating" so now there's a hole where the label was. I'm just concerned about further chipping since the label is gone.

Agreed I've alway been happy with AF customer service. I emailed them and they told me I shouldn't drop the kettlebells as they weren't meant to and send me $10 gift certificate. I replied explaining what happened a little better and will see what they say since I never dropped them.
