Rest Day

Notes: I had a bunch of things to get done today, and unfortunately the gym hours were limited on the weekend. I did a bit of a light run - around 3-4K at an easy pace just to flush out the body. Still feeling beat up from the heavier metcons and strength stuff.

Conditioning

Reebok Crossfit Games WOD #2

Deadlift/Push-up/Box Jump

Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 15 minutes of:
9 Deadlifts (155lbs)
12 Push-ups
15 Box jumps (24")

My Score: 9 Rounds + 9 Deadlifts + 5 Push ups

Power

Snatch Balance (1 rep)
95/115/135/145/155 F/155

Clean Pull (3 rep)
135/175/195/225/255/275

Notes: This WOD was horrid on my back. I don't know if I mentioned I had a previously pulled disc or something in my lower back, still trying to rehab it, but I guess it was just the two movements - deadlifts + box jumps together that did a number on it.

I think the most challenging thing for me, and it is another one of my Goats (one of many it seems as I keep posting things that I seem to be doing horridly at) is stringing box jumps together. I had to break it up and ate up a lot of time during the 15 minutes doing that. Deadlifts were all unbroken, push ups started breaking up about 6 rounds in, but again it was really the box jumps.

I felt pretty broken after this WOD, I mean, I was pushing hard for 10 rounds at least, but I look back at my postings and you know, I am where I should be. I realize that I am only 3 1/2 weeks back consistently doing Crossfit - so all and all it's not too shabby. It is something to work on.
