healthy tendons and muscles supplement

I'm 43 years old and I've been doing crossfit close to 8 months now. A few months back I had tendinitis in one of my shoulders and had to stop for 6 weeks to recover and still now, 3 months later, my shoulder doesn't feel 100%.

My question is, what supplements can I take for healthy tendons, ligaments, muscles, and so on? I'm taking OMEGA 3 fish oil and glucosamine MSM. Is this enough?

THANKS!!!

Magnesium

Glucosamine needs to be. Glucosamine sulphate NOT hcl. All the studies that say glucosamine works were using the sulphate formula, The studies that failed, were ... Hcl

A few things:

First, you very likely have a technique issue which is causing your shoulder problems. It is very likely your technique, which already may be improper, degrades significantly during WODs and that is causing microtrauma which over time results in the problem you are experiencing.

In terms of supplements take what you use now and I highly recommend you try my ETS product. It has an anti-inflammatory effect which can help with minor aches and pains.

I did not know that, thanks for the information, I'm definitely changing to a Glucosamine sulphate formula. What brand do you recommend?

Thanks again

You are correct, I've worked hard on my technique so in order to stay away from injury, my shoulder no longer hurts, but I use to be stronger than right now… I'm going to look up for the ETS products. Thanks!!

Chris, the recommended intake is 4 pills twice per day, and the container only has 60 pills? Do people order ETS at like five containers at a time? Seems like that would be alot.

60 servings in container -> so 240 pills in one container (because 1 serving is 4 pills).
I followed this protocol of 2 servings(2x4pills) per day and one container lasted me about 1 month.
