What Brand ankle socks for inov8 or new balance minimus

What brand ankles socks do you guys wear for your minimal shoes. Been going barefoot with my shoes but they are starting to smell. So I think i'm going to give it a good cleaning and switch back to socks. (I read the thread on cleaning them already)

Most of my socks that I've worn in the past with running shoes are too thick. I'm looking for thinner no-show ankle socks that are good quality for crossfit work outs. That also don't bunch of either.

I've Smart Wool and Wright running socks with my Inov8s and have been happy with them. Thin and don't bunch.

My current favorites:

http://www.zappos.com/drymax-sport-s...ow-4-pair-pack (WFS). Very thin. Made in USA. You can also literally stand in water with these and they will dry within a few hours. Only negative is that they seem to stretch out a bit (have not tried putting them in the dryer though/have only air dried so they may help with that issue). Also, they may be too thin?

http://www.swiftwick.com/zero-socks-18-ctg.htm (WFS). These are also made in USA. They have a great feel to them/compression. Did wear a hole in one sock since having them (about 6 months), but I have hard wood floors and a jacked up cement floor in the basement--I don't think it had anything to do with a manufacturing flaw.

Prior to these, I wore Wigwam (tried to keep it local), but I didn't feel that these were worth getting again as they really aren't designed for running or athletic use (imo).

I've tried a ton of socks and my current favorites are Swiftwick and Wright Running socks.

I bought a bunch of these at the games

http://shopcrossfitreebok.com/mens-1...ack-black.html

I probably wouldn't pay $6 a pair for them but they breathe great, fit nice, and are nice and simple.

I've found Adidas climacool socks are awesome. They are super short (no show style) and I usually find them at Winners for pretty cheap.

Re: What Brand ankle socks for inov8 or new balance minimus

Go to your local Wal-Mart or Target and buy a bag of ankle socks that are 1 size down from your own foot size. I'm a size 9 and instead of going for the "Fits any size from 9-12" bag, I got the bag that fits sizes 5-8. It's like 5 bucks for a bag of 12 pairs or something like that. If you normally go barefoot in your shoe then this is as minimal as it gets.

There's nothing special about them, they're just thin socks that will hardly peek over even the lowest cut shoe. Beats paying $10+ for a pair or two of compression or clime cool socks.
