no external rotation
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can help me. It has been over a week since I hurt my shoulder and haven't had a chance to get it checked out. I was hoping some rest would do it some good but it hasn't improved yet. I am not sure the best way to describe it so hopefully the attached picture will make it clear. The third man in my drawing is how I cannot rotate my harm, I can only rotate it about 5 degrees past parallel from the ground with a 90 degree bend at the elbow. Thanks! |

Re: no external rotation
I forgot to describe the issue, when I hold my arm parallel to the ground out form my body and have it bent at 90 degrees I cannot externally rotate my arm from parallel to the ground. It has a sharp pain and is just stuck, it will not move past 5 degrees past parallel even if I try to move it with my other hand.
Thanks for your input! I am planning on having it checked out ASAP but it is killing me not knowing what it is. |

I know you said you're going to go and see a doctor - but go and see a doctor! No point self diagnosing.
