CrossFit in San Francisco

I'm totally ignorant of California geography. What's the nearest CrossFit facility to San Francisco? I'm here for the week. Thanks,

Neill: You got a couple of choices, both of them good.

Best: Get thee to CrossFit HQ! It's in Santa Cruz (well, Soquel, actually, but that difference is pretty minor), about 60 miles south of the city (SFO). Use the "Contact Us" link on the main page to see a map of how to get there. (This will be tough to do without a car, however.)

Next best (and still very good): Get over to Cerrito Hill Strengh and Conditioning. Their website is www.cerritohill.com, and I'm reasonably sure that they are within walking distance of the BART trains (because pretty much every part of El Cerrito (the town they're in) is within walking distance of the BART). But, they're not necessarily set up to handle an unannounced walk-in . . . better to e-mail and/or phone first.

I live in the City. If you don't mind doing the WOD in a 24 hour Fitness I would enjoy sharing the fun with someone else. Let me know via e-mail if you are interested.

Looking forward to Crossfit San Jose! Club One at Santana Row can get a little "stuffy".

Been on the program for about nine months ,and what a difference! Nick Massman is a college friend and teammate, who fortunately exposed the program to some of us retired rugby players. I intend to get down to HQ very soon, as it is just over the hill.
