tracy fober, senior coach, has the ability to video and then analyze tech via dartfish technology. she can also put a variety of stuff together to music and study. mikes gym has hired her to put my video on dartfish to look at proper pulling paths of my lifters. at any rate go to: www.mikesgym.org and take a look in the news section for the address to see casey burgener snatching, cln and jerking and squatting. good stuff.

I love how it looks like he's not even trying on his first 2 lifts. And Coach B's body english in the background.

Phenomenal. By my calcs the last c&j works out to 481 lbs.

A question for Coach Burgener:

Several notable "authorities" either advise against or simply ignore the necessity of maintaining inter abdominal pressure (dare I say "valsalvic"?). Having a mechanical engineering background I don't see how Casey could support almost 500 lbs on his spine without internal pressurization.

Consider standing on a football (standing on its end). Would the football support you better with or without internal pressure?

Just looking at Casey I perceive a judicious use of internal pressure, especially refilling before his final jerk.

Am I correct?
