I will be in the Sacto Area (Loomis) visiting the outlaws Thursday evening through Sunday, I have seen past interest in get togethers by locals, but never got to actually meet with anyone.

These guys are easy to find in Rocklin, and their facility is quite nice. I went there to buy some bumpers once, and I met Steve Kenyon, but I haven't had a chance to workout there yet.

Also CF Norcal is in Chico, about 1 1/2-2 hours north, I would like to get up there sometime, but it doesn't look like they have a drop-in type schedule for a WOD posted on their website.

I usually piece together workouts as best I can when I head north and enjoy the head shaking of my father in law. He seems to be getting used to my insanity though. I am currently limited by a groin muscle pull that won't allow sprints or quick direction changes, and heavy squatting is sketchy, but I'm up for a WOD or two.

Where in Sac will you be staying?

Staying at the Hampton Inn-Auburn Blvd. I can check email from the road, so send me one and let's see what we can do.

Karl -

I'm in Roseville (just NE of Sac) and do the CF workouts each day at a Crossfit friendly gym there around noon. I live down the street and would be more than willing to meet you for a workout. Let me know if you're interested.

James,
I'm sure you'd like it. There's anywhere from 4 to 10 of us doing the workouts on any given day. I'll drop you an email.

Jeremy...what gym is CF friendly in Roseville? Are they on a monthly plan or do they drop in. I've got some time to do nothing right now for a couple weeks and won't be doing my commute and usual workouts in the bay in the next 2 weeks.
Sure, I could just workout myself.

As well, Rob...I guess I should email CF NorCAl, but is there a regular workout schedule time there?

Robb - I'm not so sure about a stud, but thank you for the kind words!!!

Blair - It's called fitness 180 and it's on Washington Blvd in Old Roseville. It's not a CF specific facility, but a lot of the equipment needed is there. It's an old free weight gym. The owner thinks Crossfit is the greatest thing and will do whats necessary to help us get our WOD in. There has not been a WOD yet that we couldn't do there with subs.

They have drop in for the gym ($5/day) or monthly memberships (which are very cheap).

Oh wait, Jeremy that sounds pretty awesome and affordable. A drop in gym. I know of the Lord's gym around there but I don't think that's on Washington.

Sweet...awesome. Thanks.
